Workers report major gains from AI use
Heavy users save several hours per week, while three quarters of workers say AI helps them perform tasks they could not complete before.
ChatGPT now reaches more than 800 million users each week, and this rapid uptake is fuelling a surge in enterprise AI adoption. Companies are moving past experimentation as teams integrate intelligent tools into daily workflows, reshaping how work is done and products are delivered.
Data from enterprise customers and a survey of 9,000 workers show that AI usage is growing both in scale and sophistication. Workers report faster output, improved quality and the ability to complete tasks they previously could not, with heavy users saving several hours per week.
Adoption is strongest in technology, healthcare and manufacturing, while professional services and finance operate at the largest scale. Frontier firms and workers continue to pull ahead, using AI far more intensively and benefiting from deeper integration across teams.
Organisations now face challenges related to readiness rather than model performance. The new report aims to guide companies in moving from trial projects to sustainable, high-impact deployments as AI becomes a core component of modern enterprise operations.
