Wikileaks reveals NSA spied on world leaders
In what are considered as the most highly classified documents ever published by a media organisation, Wikileaks has revealed that the US National Security Agency intercepted world leaders, including UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, Italian and Japanese trade ministers, ambassadors, and other leaders. Many of the intercepts targeted mobile phones and diplomatic cables.
