WEF announced during its annual meeting that the world is heading towards a ‘quantum divide’. Currently, 17 countries have invested in a national quantum technology research and development program, while more than 150 have not.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) announced during its Annual meeting that the world is heading towards a ‘quantum divide’. Currently, 17 countries have invested in a national quantum technology research and development program, while more than 150 have not. To avoid a quantum divide developing further, countries with more developed quantum programs must commit to inclusivity in quantum education.
