Web apps use AI to address website accessibility
Web accessibility is a challenging and important topic for persons with disabilities, which can be addressed with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications such as accessiBe. Website owners and designers face technical barriers and high costs to assist their users and to achieve compliance with laws such as the US Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) accessibility standards described in its Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). One study shows that less than 10% of websites are fully compliant with accessibility guidelines. Automated tools like accessiBe can offer features such as adjustments for visual components, animation control, screen reader optimisation, keyboard navigation, and built-in dictionaries.
