Vietnam targets transparent digital financial ecosystem by 2030
Vietnam plans to establish a transparent digital financial ecosystem by 2030, aiming to boost growth, resilience, and financial security through enhanced cybersecurity and efficiency. The Ministry of Finance launched an initiative to modernize the financial system with big data and open data, aligning with the national digital transformation plan.
To establish a promote digital financial ecosystem with enhanced cybersecurity and efficiency, the Ministry of Finance in Vietnam launched an initiative to develop a foundation for a modern and transparent digital financial ecosystem based on big data and open data by 2025. The plan, which is part of the Ministry’s digital transformation plan, aims at accelerating digital transformation in line with building a sustainable, advanced, and globally integrated national financial system. This, in turn, is expected to boost growth, enhance the resilience of the economy, and maintain macro-economic stability and financial security. This will further improve the role of the finance sector in creating, connecting, and sharing data, digitising platforms, and optimising the digital information of the government, people, and organisations.
