USD 123 million required to connect all districts to the Internet in Zimbabwe

According to a paper published by the Zimbabwe Post and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (Potraz) USD 123 million are needed in order to connect all districts to the Internet. Potraz highlights that it aims to provide over the next 10 years 1 Mbps connectivity to all districts in Zimbabwe. To do so, it will work towards improving the stability of electricity, installing optical cables across the country and deploying complementary transmission systems to improve network reliability.
