US CISA calls for vigilance over scams related to COVID-19

The US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security (CISA) has warned individuals of scams related to the coronavirus outbreak. Cyber actors may exploit fear by sending phishing emails with malicious attachments or links to deceptive websites and trick victims into revealing their personal data or donating substantial amounts of money.

CISA encourages individuals to take precautions such as avoiding clicking on links in unsolicited emails, using trusted sources, not revealing personal and financial information in emails, to name a few.
