US and France reaches agreement on digital tax at G7 summit

US and France have reached an agreement on the French digital tax. At G7 summit, France agree to get rid of its national tax and companies that have paid France’s digital tax “will be reimbursed” according to French President Emmanuel MACRON. The Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development, an intergovernmental economic organization will develop a solution to the tax challenges of the digital economy by the end of 2020.
