Updated version of the Service Level Agreement for the IANA numbering services published
The Internet Number Community (represented by the five Regional Internet Registries – RIRs) published an updated version (v5.1) of the Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the IANA numbering services. The SLA is meant to replace the current agreement between ICANN and the US government over the performance of the IANA numbering functions. This updated and final version is a result of several rounds of public consultations, which run between May 2015 and April 2016. The RIRs expect to have this SLA signed at the same time frame as the rest of the accountability measures approved by ICANN.
