UNHCR launches platform with verified education programmes
The UN Refugee Agency – UNHCR has launched an online platform ‘UNHCR Opportunities’ that provides information on verified higher education programmes available to refugees. The tool gathers reliable and up-to-date data on scholarships available to refugees in their countries of asylum or abroad. The objective of the platform as part of the UNHCR’s Education Strategy is to improve refugees’ access to higher education and raise awareness of the availability of educational opportunities.
