UNCDF launches a digital project in Uganda
The UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) has initiated a project that aims to provide small and medium businesses in northern Uganda with information technology tools such as smartphones and other digital devices, which in turn are meant to help run business activities in the health, agricultural, and education sectors .
The project is meant to work towards an inclusive digital economy in Uganda, in particular for rural communities, women, and youth.
