UN Human Rights Council passes draft resolution on Internet access
The UN Human Rights Council has passed a draft resolution that condemns the intentional disruption of citizens’ Internet access. The resolution was passed by consensus after much debate. Some countries opposed the text that ‘condemns unequivocally measures to intentionally prevent or disrupt access to our dissemination of information online.’
