UK regulators join forces to ensure online services work well for consumers and businesses

According to a news report, the UK Office of Communications (Ofcom) has set up a joint forum to ensure better collaboration for ensuring that online services work effectively for consumers and businesses in the UK. The forum known as the Digital Regulation Cooperation Forum (DRCF) has been established to strengthen existing collaboration and co-ordination between its three regulatory bodies. The forum aims to harness their collective expertise for addressing issues relating to consumer data, privacy competition, and the use of content. The report further notes that, in addition to the core members of the forum, DCRF will co-operate with other regulators, as well as engage with representatives from the government from time to time to enhance their work and objectives. The regulators have also  outlined how they will work together.
