UK ICO orders Google to remove search results regarding previous removals

The UK Information Commissioner’s Office has ordered Google to remove search results that link to news stories about previous removals of search results. Google had originally removed search results linking to news stories about a man’s criminal offence committed 10 years ago. However, following the publication of news articles about the removal of the original links, Google was ordered to remove the new links as these constitute a breach of the UK Data Protection Act.
