UK government approves Digital Identity Net
The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has registered the digital identity service provider Digital Identity Net as an Account Information Service Provider. This will enable the company to access open banking infrastructure in the UK. It will also accelerate deployment of Digital Identity Net’s OneID, a digital identity assurance network used by banks, consumers, and businesses for integrated identification and verification. OneID is currently in a pilot phase.
