UK data protection authority pauses its investigation into RTB and the Adtech industry

In a statement, the UK’s Information Commissioner Office (ICO) has announced its decision to pause its investigation into real time bidding (RTB) and the Adtech industry. The statement reads that “it is not our intention to put undue pressure on any industry at this time but our concerns about Adtech remain and we aim to restart our work in the coming months, when the time is right.”
