Uber launches Work Hub to help drivers find work during COVID-19 pandemic

The demand for Uber rides have dropped by 50% since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. To address the crisis, Uber has launched the Work Hub that is designed to help drivers earn money with the company’s other branches. Drivers can connect with Work Hub to take orders from Uber Eats, haul freight with Uber Freight’s trucking business, or take a job with Uber’s temporary worker program Uber Works. The  hub also gives drivers access to job opportunities opened from over twelve other companies that are looking for temporary staff, including grocery stores, food production, and supply chain businesses. Work Hub will be only available in the USA initially.
