UAE relaunches smart patient platform

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has relaunched a smart patient platform that aims to centralise healthcare services and patient information. The patient platform, called SHEFAA, will act as a digital communication channel between patients and service providers while providing access to medical and clinical information and electronic health records. The SHEFAA platform is part of the UAE government’s initiatives to develop public services and deliver high-quality services to community members.
