UAE launches telehealth services

Two private healthcare providers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have introduced their telehealth services free of charge to lift the burden on the country’s medical care providers, as well as encourage the public to stay home during the COVID-19 outbreak, according to a report. Aster DM Healthcare and HealthHub respectively have launched free tele-consultation services. Both services are open to those who require non-emergency care. The patients who receive tele-health consultation from the two providers will be able to get their medications delivered to their homes.
