UAE launches COVID-19 virtual information centre
The United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) Ministry of Health and Prevention launched a COVID-19 ‘virtual information centre’ that serves as a state-approved awareness platform. The website called Your Health, Our Priority is available in five languages (Arabic, Urdu, Farsi, English, and Mandarin) and provides advice, recommendations, precautions, and guidelines published by the World Health Organization (WHO) and UAE’s public health authorities. The virtual information centre also features a Virtual Doctor service through which users can evaluate their health condition if they experience symptoms that are similar to the ones caused by the Coronavirus.
