Transforming public transportation: UK government and industry fund self-driving buses

A public-private partnership between the British government and the industry is launched to fund self-driving public transportation.

UK government and private companies announced their plan to fund self-driving public transportation. The funding of £84 million will be provided for seven different projects. In addition, almost £600,000 will be awarded for feasibility studies, looking into how self-driving technology could improve public transport in the UK.
