Thailand to tighten Internet controls

The Thai government passed controversial revisions to the Computer Crimes Act. Critics argue that the cybercrime law contains provisions that would violate privacy and ‘will reportedly establish a five-member committee to screen the web for content that authorities deem to violate public morals’.
