Tech companies collaborate to counter COVID-19 disinformation
Some of the largest technology companies in the world including Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Reddit, Twitter, and YouTube have grouped together to fight COVID-19 related disinformation announcing their endeavor through a joint statement. It is still unclear what these companies are committing to, but there have been harsher measures for content moderation. Representatives from the companies met with the Trump administration last week to discuss possible ways to jointly tackle the issue.
