Switzerland to support UNCTAD’s e-commerce and digital economy activities with US$ 4.4million
The government of Switzerland has decided to support UNCTAD’s e-commerce and digital economy activities with US$ 4.4million. The donation will be dedicated to UNCTAD’s technical cooperation, research and consensus-building activities until 2024 and will be distributed by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). The funds illustrate Switzerland’s commitment to digitalisation and are in line with the country’s 2021-2024 International Cooperation Strategy and 2021-2024 Digital Foreign Policy Strategy.
