Sultan Sooud Al Qassemi calls on UAE to lift ban on Skype, VoIP service
An Emirati academic has called on authorities to consider lifting restrictions on Skype and voice over Internet (VoIP) services, as schools and universities have resorted to e-learning tools and companies have allowed people to work remotely. ‘The sooner we do so the sooner we can minimise the effects on the economy,’ he said.
