Sudan to receive assistance from Smart Africa Alliance on digital transformation
The Government of Sudan has concluded an agreement with Smart Africa Alliance in order to pursue further its digital migration strategy. The assistance will aim to enhance Sudan’s smart government and smart agriculture projects. It is also expected to boost its digital economy sector and therefore reduce dependency on its oil industry. Sudan became part of the Alliance in July and as such is the 32nd country to join the initiative.
