Study shows that companies plan to invest more in cloud computing than in physical infrastructures

A study carried out by 451 Research and commissioned by Microsoft shows that companies are increasingly switching from physical infrastructures to cloud infrastructures. According to the study, in two years, 57% of organisational infrastructure will be digital, compared with physical, up from 51% today. In addition, 95% of customers intend to renew their contract with their primary cloud and hosting provider, indicating a high degree of loyalty despite the inherent flexibility of the cloud model.
