Spanish and Europe data protection authorities publish technical note on biometric data processing
The Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) and the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) have published a technical note outlining 14 misunderstandings on biometric identification. The note, published in Spanish, aims to increase awareness among data protection officers, controllers, and processors on the General Data Protection Regulation’s (GDPR) biometrics provisions.
