Social network Parler files lawsuit against Amazon over removal

The social network Parler has sued Amazon before a US federal court, accusing breach of antitrust laws. Parler was suspended from Amazon’s cloud computing service for alleged violations of its term of services. The social network claimed that Amazon has terminated its account motivated by political aims, and to reduce competition to the benefit of Twitter. Amazon responded that Parler is unwilling or unable to promptly identify and remove content that incites violence. Examples of violent content included posts calling for the killing of Democrats, Muslims, and journalists.
