Six US universities form national IoT research centre

Six US universities; the University of Virginia, the University of Cincinnati, Northeastern University, the University of Connecticut, the University of Texas at Dallas, and the University of California at Davis launched the Center for Hardware and Embedded Systems Security and Trust (CHEST), a national Internet of things (IoT) research centre. CHEST will focus on researching how to design IoT devices that protect the rights and interests of consumers. The centre will be a part of the University of Virginia School of Engineering.
