Saudi Arabia launches centre for AI for energy
Saudi Arabia has announced the launch of a centre for artificial intelligence (AI) for energy, to be jointly managed by the Ministry of Energy and the Data and AI Authority, with the participation of other stakeholders in the energy sector. The centre will work towards promoting national energy priorities and developing AI for the energy sector. It will also contribute to building national AI capabilities and competencies in the energy sector, and will support, develop, review, and implement strategies in the area of data and AI in the energy and gas sectors.
