Russian court fines Twitter for not removing calls to protest

Twitter was fined by a court ruling for not removing several tweets encouraging minors to join unauthorized protests to release the Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny in Moscow. The court ruled that Twitter breached national regulations on restricting illegal content and ordered the platform to pay fines up to $117 thousand.
