Red Sea Global (RSG) and Zain KSA have partnered to launch the world’s first zero-carbon 5G network at the Red Sea’s Six Senses Southern Dunes resort. Powered entirely by renewable energy derived from over 760,000 solar panels covering the expansive 28,000 km2 destination, this cutting-edge 5G network sets new regional standards for connectivity speed and sustainability. RSG’s overarching mission to achieve 100% renewable energy use and a 30% net conservation benefit by 2040 is underscored by this

By using unique 3D printing technology, the program will achieve three main goals: environmental conservation, emissions reduction via renewable energy, and aesthetic distortion elimination. The towers were built to blend in with the striking and vivid surroundings of the Red Sea. The exterior design of the towers, inspired by the surrounding rock formations, blends in seamlessly with the resort’s natural ecosystem, ensuring little apparent impact and safeguarding the project’s environmental integrity partnership.

Zain KSA’s CEO, Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al Deghaither, views this partnership as a step toward sustainable technology and aligning with Saudi Vision 2030’s principles. The collaboration focuses on innovation, localization, and promoting locally sourced content for the project.
