Privacy/data protection Safe Harbour EU/USA

In what is seen by many as a victory for user privacy, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), has overturned the Safe Harbour agreement between the USA and the EU, that all allowed free information exchange between the two regions. that allowed the free flow of information between the US and EU. Most notably, companies such as such as Facebook, Google, and Twitter, may not be allowed to send user data from Europe to the US. Note that the ruling will not take immediate effect, but rather permits EU member states to move forward in their own countries.
