Multiple Polish websites were knocked offline by distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. Affected news outlets include Gazeta Wyborcza, wPolityce.pl, Rzeczpospolita, and Super Express.

wPolityce_pl stated, ‘According to information obtained from @CYFRA_GOV_PL [Ministry of Digitization] Russian hacking groups are behind the attack. Other Polish portals are also attacked. We are working to resolve the issues.’

When asked if Russian groups were behind the attacks, Polish Minister of Cyber Security Janusz Cieszynski said, ‘we have such information.’

Poland, a strong supporter of Ukraine, has been a target of Russian-backed threat actors. The Russian foreign ministry has not provided any comments on the attacks.
