Philippines too take action against ISPs for inaction against CSAM

A new recommendation proposed by the Philippines Department of Justice to fight the increase of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) has been approved. Internet service providers (ISPs) are now mandated to inform civilian law enforcement agencies of any CSAM running through their servers and to regularly update their servers and technology in order to deter and block CSAM. Any inaction by the ISPs to take action against CSAM on their networks will lead to legal action against them.
