OSCE discussion on AI and freedom of media
The OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan, together with other organisations, held a roundtable discussion on the use of AI in journalism and the regulation of harmful content.
The roundtable discussion focused on the changes in the media landscape, the limitations and opportunities of media in the digital sphere, the use of AI in journalism, and the regulation of harmful content in the OSCE region.
The importance of international cooperation and a human rights-based framework for AI were emphasised.
