Orange and GIZ to enhance digital employability of 20,000 young people in Africa and the Middle East

Orange Africa and the Middle East and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit signed a partnership agreement to improve the digital skills of 20,000 young people in 14 countries in Africa and the Middle East. The two institutions will make the most of their compentences and resources to train youth in digital skills, improve their employability and make digital ‘a chance for everyone’.

Orange and GIZ will set up digital hubs throughout Africa and the Middle East – Orange Digital Centres. The centres will provide young people with training in digital technology free of charge, accelerate the creation of start-ups and support project leaders.
