OECD turns focus to digital economy and digital issues

During the OECD Cancun meeting in June, countries agreed on a range of proposals, including increasing access to broadband, narrowing the digital divide, and pursuing pursue opportunities arising from the Internet of Things, cloud computing, and data analytics, following its Cancun meeting. The OECD will also ‘look beyond the ICT sector to look at how to make policies in everything from tax and trade to transport ready for the digital era.’
