OECD releases public comments on Internet taxation

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has released 52 public comments on the creation of new international tax rules for the Internet industry. The OECD is reviewing current tax rules, as they are considered to ‘inadequately tax the profits of digital firms’. The comments will contribute to an interim report, to be launched in April 2018 at the G20 Finance Ministers’ meeting.
