NY hospital uses Apple Watch to monitor healthcare workers’ health

According to a report, Mount Sinai COVID-19 Informatic Center in New York, USA, which was established with a grant from Microsoft, is using Apple Watches to monitor the health of doctors, nurses, and its support staff. The project, named Warrior Watch Study, aims to better understand the impact of COVID-19 on the psychological well-being of healthcare workers and how this stress can be mitigated, while also predicting infections among its staff. Participants of the study are required to download the Warrior Watch app, answer a short daily survey about their symptoms and stress, and wear an Apple Watch during the study period.
