New York state investigators request Facebook documents in data privacy probe
After reports from the Wall Street Journal that Facebook was automatically receiving data from 11 smartphone apps used by millions without consent, the New York Department of Financial Services have addressed a letter to Facebook requesting documents on its data sharing practices.
