New malware named NullMixer spotted by Kaspersky

According to the latest Kaspersky report, a new dropper leading to an infection chain of various malware families, called NullMixer, was spotted. Essentially, NullMixer spreads via malicious websites often related to crack, keygen, and activators for illegally downloading software. Once users attempt downloading the software, they are redirected to a page containing download instructions and archived password-protected malware masquerading as the software tool.
