New initiatives by Google to protect users especially children online in India

Google introduced new online safety measures in India, focusing on protecting users, especially children. The initiatives include investing in user awareness and providing support for digital safety training. They launched ProtectingChildren.Google, offering child safety toolkits in Bengali, Tamil, and Hindi.

Google  launched new online safety initiatives in India. The company announced its four key imperatives (i.e. using technology to fight bad actors, build capacity, support under represented communities and promote user awareness) and intent to invest in user awareness and support for local community organisations for digital safety training.  In that context the company  announced that they will be granting $2 million USD for enhanced digital safety.

The tech giant launched the ProtectingChilderen.Google website  that provides child safety toolkits to keep children safe online in three Indian languages,  Bengali, Tamil and Hindi.
