New initiatives by Google to protect users especially children online in India
Google launched new online safety initiatives in India. The company announced its four key imperatives (i.e. using technology to fight bad actors, build capacity, support under represented communities and promote user awareness) and intent to invest in user awareness and support for local community organisations for digital safety training. In that context the company announced that they will be granting $2 million USD for enhanced digital safety.
