New Freedom of Information Bill signed into law in Zimbabwe

According to a news report on the development, the new bill has been described as  a giant move since it effectively repealed the long-criticised ‘Information and Protection of Privacy Act’ (AIPPA) and ‘brings Zimbabwe’s information-related laws into conformity with the Declaration of Rights in the Constitution of Zimbabwe.’
