Multilingual disaster response alerts in Japan
Disaster management alerting is one of the huge possibilities the Internet offers. The Japanese government is planning to make them more effective, especially for visitors, by disseminating them in five foreign languages. The Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) has fostered multilingual and multi-audience messaging since at least 2010.
