Mozambique and Huawei partner to boost ICT industry
Chinese telecom provider Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd will assist Mozambique to further develop the local ICT industry following the signing of a partnership arrangement on November 9th. Following the published results of Huawei’s “Seeds for the Future” training program where 50 young people built capacity in fifth-generation wireless telecommunications technology, the LTE wireless broadband communication standard, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, etc. this partnership is at a time when a number of African nations are accelerating digital transformation initiatives.
