Millions of Bulgarians’ data stolen by hackers

Hackers have stolen data of 5 million of Bulgarian citizens’ from Bulgaria’s National Revenue Agency. The hackers shared 57 databases out of 110 they claim to have stolen with Bulgarian media. This contained names, personal identification numbers, home addresses, and financial earnings of affected taxpayers. ZDNet reported that the database has on hacking forums by a hacked data trader known as Instakilla. Bulgarian prosecutors have indicted two men on terrorism-related charges over the breach.
