The website is counting the days before the debut, promoting Threads as ‘Instagram’s text chat app’. Threads app is a platform where users can connect with their favorite creators and like-minded individuals who share their interests. It resembles Twitter in terms of being a text-based platform. The accompanying images indicate that users can use their existing Instagram usernames on this platform. Additionally, iPhone users will require iOS 14 or a newer version to access this platform.
