Malasyia concludes national ID consultation
Malaysia has concluded a two week consultation on a national digital ID platform. The consultations sought input from the public on several applications of digital ID including healthcare, e-government, verification of customers, education, and pensions. The national system also aims to integrate existing digital IDs in use. Future applications of national digital ID will include immigration control.
